PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with low reactive power. SOLUTION: A plurality of partition walls 14 are provided between a front substrate 2 and back substrate 3 so as to form a plurality of discharge cells. The partition walls 14 are structured with a first partition wall part 14a with a predetermined width and a second partition wall part 14b made of a plurality of protrusions formed on the first partition wall part 14a. If adjacent discharge cells pinching the partition walls 14 are called a first discharge cell and a second discharge cell, the protrusions are arranged so that the second discharge cell may not be seen through from the first discharge cell through the second partition walls 14b.
