PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transfer system, a path controller and a path control method capable of transferring data between storages without using a server. SOLUTION: The information transfer system is provided with a plurality of storages for storing data, at least one server for instructing the transfer of a file between the storages, and a path controller connected to a server and the storages for controlling a communication path. The path controller is provided with a storage part for storing disposal information stored in the transfer destination storage instructed by the server and a control part for controlling the transfer instructed by the server by referring to the storage part.
