PURPOSE: Provided are apparatus and method for manufacturing septic tank with improved rigidity. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing a first mold(10) having a plurality of grooves(11) at an upper portion thereof; filling the grooves(11) with a molding material; placing a panel shape molding material on a support frame(30) provided along edges of the first mold(10) so as for the panel shape molding material to cover all the first mold(10); raising the first mold(10) along with the panel shape molding material toward a second mold(30) so as the first mold(10) and the second mold(30) to be combined with each other; and pressing the panel shape molding material against the first mold(10) using the second mold(30), thereby forming a septic tank by press molding method.
