PURPOSE: A system for minimizing and processing an e-mail message is provided to reduce the communication load by compressing an original message and making a receiver decompress the contents of the compressed mail, and to reduce a mail size stored in a mail server or a receiver computer. CONSTITUTION: If a sender sends an e-mail writing form, the installation of an e-mail compressing/decompressing software is checked(101). If the software is previously installed or is completely installed, the sender writes the e-mail(104). The sender transmits the e-mail by selecting a compression transfer or a general transfer(105). If the receiver loads an e-mail confirmation form, the installation of an e-mail compressing/decompressing software is checked(106). If the software is previously installed or is completely installed, the receiver confirms the received mail(110). If an e-mail confirmation event is generated, the software is displayed after decompression(111).
