PURPOSE: A computer for arresting the occurrence of unnecessary signals is provided to arrest the occurrence of unnecessary multiplication-induced signals that cause malfunctions and interference with other electronic devices, and reduce the current consumption and heating of a CPU. CONSTITUTION: The computer has a CPU(1), plural peripheral devices(2-4) controlled by the CPU(1), a data transmission bus(5) between the CPU(1) and the peripheral devices(2-4) and between the peripheral devices(2-4), and a clock signal source(6) for supplying clock signals for CPU operation and data transmission. The clock signal source(6) is constituted by a PLL synthesizer. Two clock signals, namely, one for the CPU(1) and the other for the data transmission bus(5), are outputted from the PLL synthesizer to arrest the occurrence of unnecessary signals except for the clock signals.
