CHARGE CALCULATION METHOD FOR WWW DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a charge for WWW data according to the number of browses of the WWW data by an Internet terminal. SOLUTION: WWW data created by a service provider upon a request from a requester is stored in a service provider server. A link to the WWW data stored in the service provider server is embedded in a WWW page of the requester. Every time the WWW page of the requester is browsed (a WWW page displaying program is executed by a terminal of an arbitrary Internet user), the service provider server receives a file transfer request for the WWW data from the page. The service provider calculates the charge for the WWW data according to the number of the file transfer requests.
