PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of coping with lending regulations of every library by organically coordinating functions relating to the browsing services such as the lending and returning, and the advanced booking management of books and magazines, and the management of the users. SOLUTION: A server device 11 is accessible to a book catalogue DB 13 and the browsing DB 12e in a service DB 12, and connected to a librarian-side client device 14 through a LAN and the like. The server device 11 recognizes a user ID assigned to every user from the client device 14, retrieves the user information corresponding to the recognized user ID from the browsing DB 12e, recognizes the data ID assigned to every book or magazine from the client device 14, and retrieves the catalogue information corresponding to the recognized data ID from the catalogue DB 13. The server device 11 produces the lending information on the basis of the user information and the catalog information, registers the produced lending information to the browsing DB 12e, and performs the lending on the basis of the registered lending information and the lending regulations of every library, registered as the parameter in advance. |
