PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the amount of a lubricating oil adequate for lubricating a diesel engine. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 26 is embedded in a cylinder liner 16 for an diesel engine 10 mounted on a ship for detecting the temperature of the cylinder liner 16 as engine lubrication information. An engine managing part 40 transmits the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 26 via a communication satellite 60 to an oiling amount manager 50 on a ground. A server 52 for the oiling amount manager 50 compares the received temperature with management reference data stored in a database 54 and transmits oiling amount control information via the communication satellite 60 to the engine managing part 40. The engine managing part 40 controls a lubricator 22 in accordance with the oiling amount control information received from the oiling amount manager 50 to adjust the amount of the lubricating oil for oiling to the cylinder liner 16.
