PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste composition imparting shape-retaining property and form-stabilizing effect to textiles. SOLUTION: This paste composition comprises (a) a polymer forming intramolecular crosslink therein by heating, (b) a specific amount of another carboxy-containing polymer than (a) and water and has pH 2.0-7.0 at 20 deg.C.
