The invention relates to a thermal collector for domestic use, employed in the household for cooking or other housekeeping activities. According to the invention, the collector comprises several members (1 and 2) provided along their common symmetry axis with joints for vertical connection ensuring height changes, said joints having open ends for allowing the waste gas to enter inside, the upper part being covered by some discs (5 and 6) of the stove-lid type arranged in the horizontal plane, the thermal condition being adjustable thereby.
