A continuous treatment process for at least one non- treated liquid fluid having a high water content and containing a volatile fraction with components and a heavy fraction, for the purpose of separating these two fractions, comprising: burning at least one gaseous fluid in such manner as to produce a combustion gas, recovering the heat from the combustion gas to heat the liquid fluid, by means of a liquid circulation loop comprising a first gas/liquid heat exchanger and a second liquid/liquid heat exchanger to provide a reheated liquid fluid, circulating the re-heated liquid fluid under pressure, extracting the volatile fraction from the liquid fluid by evaporation to provide a fluid partially rid of its volatile fraction, causing the non-treated liquid fluid to circulate with the liquid fluid partly rid of its volatile fraction by evaporation, oxidizing by combustion the components of the volatile fraction, and extracting the heavy fraction in concentrated form, wherein this process allows the simultaneous treatment of at least one liquid fluid and at least one gaseous fluid. An installation for implementing this continuous treatment process is also disclosed.
