PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the printing quality of a specified level by preventing toner from abnormally sticking to pre-cut paper when the pre-cut paper is made to pass in an image forming apparatus provided with the paper feeding device of roll-shaped recording paper consisting of plain paper and capable of performing electrophotographic recording on recording paper supplied therefrom. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is provided with the paper feeding device of the roll-shaped recording paper consisting of the plain paper and performs the electrophotographic recording on the roll-shaped recording paper supplied from it, and performs image formation process control and fixing control similar to normal printing operation when the pre-cut paper automatically cut so as to adjust the leading edge of the recording paper is made to pass in the case of setting the recording paper. It is desirable to print a message for the user of the image forming device on the pre-cut paper or control only transfer bias, while the pre-cut paper is made to pass, to be reverse to the polarity in the case of a normal printing condition in the image forming apparatus. |
