PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely mount to a vehicle body with a structure of eliminating a mounting flange on the outer periphery of the outer member. SOLUTION: In a constitution in which the outer member of a bearing for wheels is fixed to the vehicle body, the bearing for wheels including the outer member 1 having double row raceway surfaces on its inner periphery; an inner member 2 having raceway surfaces opposed to each of the raceway surfaces 1a of the outer member and being provided with a wheel mounting flange 3a; and double row rolling elements 3 interposed between the outer member 1 and inner member 2, the vehicle body is provided with an annular member 11 having a claw part 11b on the vehicle body and a peripheral groove 1c is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the outer member 2 so that the claw part 11b and the peripheral groove 1c may be engaged with each other to fix the bearing for wheels to the vehicle body. |
