PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a re-sampling address generator circuit with which an appropriate reading address is formed. SOLUTION: When the period of input output clock is not stable, period data of a re-sampling period address register 23 are updated and a reading address is formed by supplying the output of the register 23 to a cumulative adding circuit 24. When the period of the input output clock is stable and a command is received from itself or the external, the updating of the period data of the register 23 is stopped and a reading address is formed by supplying the output of the register 23 to the circuit 24. When the updating of the period data of the register 23 is being stopped and a phase difference detecting circuit 31 indicates that the phase difference between a writing address and a reading address exceeds a prescribed allowable range, the register 23 is updated by correction data and the register output is supplied to the circuit 24 to form a reading address. |
