PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the layout of an optical scanner having a plurality of light source parts and other optical devices, and further to suppress the occurrence of the bend and the inclination of a scanning line. SOLUTION: Two upper and lower polygon mirrors 2a and 2b are arranged up and down above photoreceptors 1Y, 1M, 1C and 1Bk, and rotated by a common polygon motor 3. The light sources 4Y and 4Bk are arranged at a height position corresponding to the upper polygon mirror 2a, and the light sources 4M and 4C are arranged at a height position corresponding to the lower polygon mirror 2b as a light source. The light sources 4Y, 4C, 4M and 4Bk are arranged in this order in a horizontal direction, and arranged so that the respective optical axes of the light sources 4C and 4M may cross between a coupling lens 5 and a cylinder lens 6. |
