PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To multiply and practice a system for generating power by utilizing a plant-based raw material such as chaff or timber, such as lumbers from thinning. SOLUTION: This combined power generator for simultaneously producing charcoal, and the like, selectively comprises a charcoal-producing portion A having an oven 1 for simultaneously retorting or gasifying and carbonizing the plant-based raw material to produce a carbonization product and a combustible gas, a power generation portion B for burning the combustible gas produced in the oven 1 in an machinery 25 to drive a power generator 2, a carbonization product-using portion C provided with a combustion device 3 which uses the carbonization product (charcoal) produced in the oven 1 as a fuel, and a carbonization product-processing portion D for processing the carbonization product produced in the oven 1 into a product.
