PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image which a user wants to see by enlarging it in a short time on a screen, and to reduce any load on a CPU. SOLUTION: When the number of the pixels of received original image data is larger than the number of pixels of an operating/displaying part 13, a display control part 12 reduces the number of pixels of the original image data to the number of pixels of the operating/displaying part 13 in order to display the image data. When a position is designated by a pointing device 14 on the picture, a position calculating part 15 calculates corresponding coordinates in the original image data. An area designating part 16 designates an image area equal to the number of pixels of the operating/displaying part 13 in the original image data, and transmits the information through a transmitting/ receiving part 11 to an image data distributing device 20. At the time of receiving the image data corresponding to the image area, the display control part 12 displays the image data at the operating/displaying part 13 as a partially enlarged image without changing the number of pixels of the image data. |
