PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card for radio communication, in which a diversity antenna can be moved back and forth corresponding to a receiving sensitivity. SOLUTION: In this IC card for radio communication mounted in a card slot (S) of a data processor (notebook-sized personal computer, for example,) for controlling radio communication between this data processor and an external device, this IC card is provided with, at least, a card substrate (card-shaped casing 1) incorporating a radio communication circuit for performing radio communication with the external device, hollow antenna housing part provided on the card substrate, planar antenna main body (A1) provided in the antenna housing part, moving means (solenoid 100 or stepping motor M, for example,) for moving the antenna main body from the inside of the antenna housing part to the outside, state detecting means (communication control part 301, for example,) for detecting the receiving state of the antenna main body, and antenna movement control means (antenna movement control part 302, for example,) for controlling the operation of the moving means corresponding to the detected receiving state. |
