PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of using mixed fuel gas of fuel such as methane and oxygen whose concentration is increased to a degree capable of preventing the progress of carbonization of the fuel and in the same time, preventing the explosion of the mixed fuel gas. SOLUTION: This fuel cell is constituted by housing cells for a multiplayer fuel cell in a container 20 in which supply pipes 20a, 20a, etc., of the mixed fuel gas containing fuel gas such as methane and oxygen and exhaust pipes 20b, 20b, etc., of the exhaust gas are installed, and fillers 26 are packed in spaces 22, 24 inside the container 20 where the mixed fuel gas or the exhaust gas flows, and the gaps in the fillers 26, 26, etc., are formed so as not to cause ignition even if the mixed gas within the ignition limit is present inside the spaces 22, 26 when the fuel cell is operated. |
