摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain corona shielding devices of stator windings of a high voltage motor which can suppress a discharge between adjacent stator windings, even if low resistance corona shielding layers are formed on straight parts of the stator windings perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and which can be manufactured easily at a low cost in comparison with a constitution, wherein the low resistance corona shielding layers and high resistance corona shielding layers are obliquely formed. SOLUTION: Buffer resistance corona shielding layers relax a potential difference between the stator windings. The layers are formed on the inside surfaces of the adjacent stator windings, from ends of low resistance first outer resistance corona shielding layers to regions of high resistance second outer resistance corona shielding layers including bent parts of the stator windings. With such a constitution, corona shielding devices which have superior breakdown voltage characteristic and the high reliability and can be obtained at a low cost can be realized.
