PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage receiving and transforming facility which can eliminate problems of water-proofing work, assure wide working space around a box body, and also assure safe and easy maintenance and inspection work. SOLUTION: A metal box body 3 provided with a door 6 is placed and fixed to a support base 2 provided to a slab 1 at the rooftop of a building. In the machine room 11 in the box body 3, a high voltage receiving panel 16 and a vacuum circuit breaker 17 are accommodated, while low voltage distribution panels 18 to 20 and low voltage cable leading portions 21 to 23 are accommodated in the machine rooms 12 to 14. At the external side of the box body 3, the extended floor members 25 made of striped steel plate are integrally provided. Base portions 25A to 25D in the front and rear and right and left portions of the floor member 25 are expanded in connection with the front and rear, and right and left wall surfaces of the box body 3 to form a wide maintenance work area around the box body 3. The floor member 25 is set in the same level as the floor surface of the box body 3.
