PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder magnetic core whose hysteresis loss coefficient is 200 kW/m<3> or less. SOLUTION: The powder magnetic core is composed mainly of powder of a soft magnetic alloy composed of Si: 8 to 11 mass%, Al: 4 to 8 mass% and the remainder of Fe and inevitable impurities, and of which the insoluble Al amount is 0.3 mass% or less.
