摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-impregnated bearing structure which can restrain scattering of a lubricating oil to prolong the service life of the oil-impregnated bearing. SOLUTION: The oil-impregnated bearing 5 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape with its one side part in an axial direction being contracted through a stepped surface 5a and its the other side part in the axial direction being widened at a second oil retaining surface 5c which is tapered. In addition, the oil-impregnated bearing 5 has a radial bearing surface 5d formed on the inner peripheral surface between the stepped surface 5a and the second oil retaining surface 5c of the oil-impregnated bearing 5. A rotary shaft 8 has a stepped surface 8a opposed to the stepped surface 5a, and is inserted into the oil-impregnated bearing 5 so as to be axially supported by the radial bearing surface 5d while the stepped surface 8a is engaged with the stepped surface 5a to obtain the regulation of the axial movement of the rotary shaft 8. A second oil retaining part 12 is formed in a clearance between the outer peripheral surfaces of the second oil retaining surface 5c and the rotary shaft 8.
