A foldable tote box is formed by a one-piece corrugated board, especially corrugated plastic, including a rectangular bottom panel (2), a pair of sidewall panels (1) and a pair of end wall panels (7, 8). Each sidewall panel (1) has a pair of filler beam panels (4-6) forming a hollow support beam. Each end wall panel includes a wall section (8) and a flap section (7) on which a pair of locking insert tabs (66) are formed to be engaged with a pair of holding tabs (77) on the filler beam panels (4-6). Each holding tab is said to be formed in one corner panel. The locking insert tabs and holding tabs are formed by cutting lines. The locking insert tabs (66) are longer and narrower than the holding tab (77) allowing insertion of the locking insert tabs (66) as the holding tabs (77) are pressed away from the filler beam panel (4-6), and, upon release, the holding tabs (66) can hold and lock the locking insert tabs (66).
