PURPOSE: A signal processing apparatus having a thunderstroke protection function is provided to prevent damages on main components of circuits from thunderstroke by outputting elements of the thunderstroke to an AC power input portion. CONSTITUTION: A signal processing portion(42) processes radio signals received through an antenna(62) and includes a tuner(58) having an earth portion(60). The signal processing portion(42) has the second terminal(56) to receive DC power provided from the first terminal(54) of an attenuation portion(40). The attenuation portion(40) has an AC power input portion(50). The signal processing portion(42) converts the AC power to DC power. The DC power is outputted to the second terminal(56) of the signal processing portion(42) through the first terminal(54). The AC power input portion(50) has a sparker gap including the first and the second sides(70,72). The signal processing portion(42) has the first connection line(62). The attenuation portion(40) has the second connection line(52).
