<p>The standard ski-boot is fitted with a rigid sole suitable for being joined to the binding, but difficult to walk on after the skis have been taken off. The ground in a ski resort can be slippery, uneven, and sloping, most hotels have tiles positioned on the floor of their entrance halls. A strip of a durable textile material is joined to the rear projection of the sole of the boot, guided along the lower surface of the sole and joined to the front projection. Strips of Velcro (RTM) or a double layer can be used for an improved effect.</p> |
