A content delivery server(2)is provided in such a manner that it can be connected to a user terminal apparatus via a communication network(3)and includes a content data storage block(24)for storing digital content data to be transmitted,a program storage block(25)for storing a computer program for managing/reproducing the digital content data,and a transmission processor(26)for transmitting the management/reproduction program and the digital content data according to a request from the user terminal apparatus.The management/reproduction program performs the following in the user terminal apparatus:processing to set a delivery content data storage area in a storage block of the user terminal apparatus,processing to divide the delivery content data into distributed data groups according to a set rule and storing the converted data groups,processing to de−convert the stored converted content data according to the aforementioned set rule so as to restore the original content data,and processing to reproduce the restored content data.Thus,it is possible to suppress the content use within a limited range.
