The photoconductive plate (20) is provided on the underside of a liquid crystal module (12) with a light conduction surface (21) facing towards the latter and having a corresponding profile. At least one side of the light conduction surface has a number of light guide fields for directing light onto the light conduction surface from a light source (30), the photoconductive plate having openings (22) corresponding to the keyboard buttons, illuminated via further light guide fields.
