<p>An optical information recording medium (10) comprising a first substrate (11), a second substrate (12) disposed in parallel to the first substrate (11), and an information layer (20) disposed between the first and second substrates (11, 12), the information layer (20) having a recording layer (23) and inorganic material layers (a downside interface layer (22), upside interface layer (24)). The recording layer (23) changes between at least two different states that are optically identifiable when irradiated with a laser beam (14) incident from the first substrate side. The above inorganic material layers mainly contain the nitride of SiXGe1-X (0.3≤x≤0.9). The optical information recording medium can reliably record/reproduce even when recording/reproducing by using a short-wavelength light beam or recording/reproducing to/from a plurality of information layers; and a recording method using it is provided.</p> |
