A portable electronic apparatus (10) comprising a microswitch (12) fixed to one side of a printed board (13) and controlled by an operating button (11), and circuit elements soldered to the other side of the printed board (13) while being housed in BGA packages (14, 15, 16). A shield wall (22) surrounding the BGA packages (14, 15, 16) is fixed to the printed board (13), a first protrusion (18b) for retaining the shield wall (22) on the printed board (13) side is provided on the case (18) of the portable electronic apparatus (10) and a second protrusion (18c) for retaining the surface of the BGA packages (14, 15, 16) on the printed board (13) side is provided on the case (18) of the portable electronic apparatus (10). The BGA packages are thereby prevented from being stripped from the printed board (13). Even if the operating button is operated frequently in a game, or the like, the BGA packages mounted on the rear side of the operating button can be kept in good soldering state.
