<p>The central element (2) is of a short cylindrical shape (3) and either provided with a groove surrounding its hole surface or positioned along the sides of the element (2) which can be inserted between two chopsticks (10, 10A). A rubber ring (50) is pulled across the upper ends (11, 11A) of the sticks (10, 10A) in order to serve as a return element. For gripping a piece of food the lower ends of the chopsticks (10, 10A) are pressed together using the circular element (2) as a guide in order to keep the sticks parallel. The element (2) is kept in position by the rubber band (50) which can be more or less tensioned, depending on the strength of the person using the device.</p> |
