A base (1), preferably in the shape of a heart, is provided with several short legs (2) and at least two carrying handles (3) attached to the outer rim. The first layer of the cake, particularly created of a soft substance like cream, butter cream, or a sponge material, is positioned on top of the base (1) and provided with a hole in the center for the insertion of a cylindrical joint element (4) screwed or plugged into a matching insertion space at the base (1). Several storeys can be added, the cake layers positioned on the bases (6, 7, 8) getting successively smaller towards the top.
