The workpiece (10) is fixed or movable; the grinding disc (16) turns and moves in a forward direction and is swivel mounted in relation to the forward direction. For the purpose of molding transition parts (14) in the form of hollow fillets with different shaft diameters, the swivel axle (21) of the grinding disc is the forward thrust axis situated on the plane intersecting the middle of the hollow fillet. The grinding disc is movably and adjustably mounted along its rotary axle (27).
