The fuel temperature evaluation method determines the overall ohmic resistance at the magnetic controls (3Z1,..3Z4) for each fuel injection jet or fuel feed device with a cold engine, to provide reference values entered in a memory (6), for comparison with subsequent measured ohmic resistance values, to allow temperature-dependent correction of the fuel dosing for the engine. An Independent claim is included for a device for evaluating the fuel temperature of a combustion engine.
