FIELD: continuous rolling mills for making elongated products, namely improved arrangement of finish rolling group in such mills. SUBSTANCE: in finish rolling stands of mill for rolling elongated blanks such as strips, rods and so on during first mode it is possible to roll blanks successively in finish group and in reduction-sizing mill arranged in main transporting line. At second mode it is possible to guide blanks from main transporting line to additional transporting line which by- passes finish group and to return blank to main transporting line for rolling it in reduction-sizing mill. In preferable variant of invention it is possible to move cooling apparatus between main and additional transporting lines in order to cool rolled blanks at any rolling mode. EFFECT: lowered idling time period at maintenance of one line of rolling mill. 7 cl, 1 dwg |
