Reactor arrangement (2) comprises a main reactor (16) with a catalyst filling in the form a liquid-cooled tubular reactor; a secondary reactor (20) connected to the main reactor; and a cooling stage (18). The cooling stage and the secondary reactor are located in the same housing (4) as the main reactor. Preferred Features: A mixer (60) is arranged between the main reactor and the secondary reactor. The partial stream for the cooling stage can be separately controlled. The cooling stage is formed from a tubular condenser. The main reactor is a multiple zone reactor. The secondary reactor is a non-cooled reactor.
