<p>Device and machine (10) to automatically change the color of the thread of the needles. The sewing machine (10) comprises upper sewing members (12), lower sewing members (15) and a plurality of support means (14) mounted at intervals longitudinally on at least a bar (13b) equipped with alternate movement. Each of the support means (14) defines a sewing position for a respective sewing member (12). In cooperation with every support means (14) there is a plurality of needle-bearing elements (25). Each needle-bearing element (25) is associated with at least a sewing member (12) carrying at least a relative thread (28). Actuator means (17) can be selectively activated to insert a needle-bearing element (25) into a relative support means (14) in the relative sewing position.</p> |
