<p>The present invention relates to the field of genomics and genetic analysis, more particularly to genetic mapping of complex quantitative and qualitative traits. This invention more particularly relates to compositions and methods to identify haplotypes of associated allelic variants in nucleic acid fragments from different sources. The method allows the unambiguous identification of a trait-associated haplotype over large stretches of DNA up to several kilobases. The invention can be used to identify haplotypes related to various conditions or diseases, in particular to the ability of a subject to respond to therapeutic treatments.</p> |
