A ticket dealing technique of high degree of freedom of place/time where/when a ticket is purchased/received. Out of the things carried by a user, a thing in which information unique to the user or to the thing (hereinafter referred to as “unique information”) is readably recorded is treated as a ticket issued to the user by storing the unique information in the thing so as to specify ticket information allocated to the user. The unique information is received from a portable terminal of the user through a radio communication network. The ticket information is related to the ticket information and stored along with the unique information in a storage means. The unique information is read from the thing, and ticket information is read from the storage means. The user carrying the thing is authenticated as the user to whom the ticket information is allocated.
