PURPOSE: Provided are a coating composition using waste tires, which is used as rust resisting, waterproofing, and fiber grid coatings, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 30-60 wt% of liquid styrene butadiene rubber containing carbon black; 20-40 wt% of at least one of diluents for diluting the liquid styrene butadiene rubber, which are selected from alcohol, benzene, acetone, petroleum ether, ether, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, and gasoline; 5-10 wt% of the first additive for solidifying the liquid styrene butadiene rubber, which consists of liquid petroleum resin, stearic acid, sulfide, zinc oxide, mercaptobenzothiazole, and diphenylguanidine; and 15-20 wt% of the second additive for settling a physical property of the liquid styrene butadiene rubber, which comprises at least one of epoxy, polyurethane, rubber chloride, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate-acrylate, aluminum paint, chloroprene rubber, and natural rubber.
