<p>A belt (1) laying or destacking arrangement for high-speed destacking/laying of items (3) arranged in layers, for example on a pallet (2), for example to use in the wood industry, hereunder particularly the furniture making industry, and a method for high-speed and continuous destacking/laying of items are disclosed. The invention comprises one or more co-operating conveyor belts (1,9), which conveyor belts are made up of a body divided into two or more chambers (5,6), where the pressure can vary independently in each chamber from underpressure to atmospheric pressure, alternatively pressure over that of the atmosphere; that each chamber (5,6) at the underside is supplied with holes; that a conveyor belt can rotate about the body in the longitudinal direction, which conveyor belt is built up of an internal belt (22) and a yielding external belt (23) attached to the internal belt and through holes are arranged in the conveyor belt; and that means for independently changing of the pressure are arranged in each chamber, whereby items one after another can be sucked on to and freed from the belt. <IMAGE></p> |
