An electric or hybrid or fossil-fuel-driven vehicle has different ways of supplementing the electrical power supply. The vehicle may have a plurality of forward facing propeller-type turbine and generators units 11, 12 mounted on the roof and at the front, to be driven by wind or the slipstream. It may also have turbines 211, rotating about transverse axes, protruding from the upper surface of the bonnet and below the vehicle. Further generators can be driven by rollers engaging the axles of the vehicle. The electricity generated can be stored in batteries or used to generate hydrogen by electrolysis. |
