OPTICAL SYSTEM OF PROJECTOR

PURPOSE: An optical system of a projector is provided which achieves a high luminance as using conventional optical devices, by adopting two light sources in a projection and projector system using two reflective liquid crystal panels and then feeding back a light which is lost. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second light source(201,211) emit a non-polarized light. The first light output part separates a red light polarized to a specific wave from the non-polarized light emitted from the first light source. The first liquid crystal panel(209) forms an image by receiving the red light separated from the first light output part and then reflects it to the first light output part. The second light output part separates a cyan light polarized to a specific wave from the non-polarized light emitted from the second light source. The third light output part separates a green or blue light polarized to a specific wave from the cyan light. The second liquid crystal panel(220) forms an image by receiving the polarized green or blue light from the third light output part and then reflects it to the third light output part. A recombiner(221) recombines the light reflected from the first and the second liquid crystal panel. And an optical lens(222) diffuses a light being output from the recombiner.
