PURPOSE: A cart information device is provided to achieve improved user convenience by permitting a user to directly check the prices of commodities through the information display panel mounted at the cart. CONSTITUTION: A cart information device comprises a cart(1) and an information display panel(2) including a sound controller(3), a speaker(4), a transmitting/receiving antenna(5), a bar code reader(6), a monitor(7) and a power switch(8). The information read by the bar code reader is displayed on the monitor, and transmitted to a counter and a central data processing unit through the transmitting/receiving antenna. The information is transmitted to vendor companies so as to allow vendor companies to check an inventory. The monitor displays advertisements of a company transmitted from the central data processing unit.
