摘要 PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling tension of hot finishing rolling mill are provided to prevent quality defects of the front end part of rolled strip by controlling deviation of tension applied on the front end part of the rolled strip when the front end part of the rolled strip is positioned between hot finishing rolling stands. CONSTITUTION: In a system for controlling tension of hot finishing rolling mill by controlling rotational speed of work rolls(1,1') of the front stand from a time pint (t0) when rolled strip is entered into the rear stand of a finishing rolling mill comprising a plurality of stands to an acceleration time point (α) when the rolled strip is accelerated all over all of the stands, the tension control system comprises a (SCC) supervisory control computer(40) for storing information on rotational speed order value and acceleration time of work rolls of the stand and specification of the rolled strip; a data collection part(20) for receiving the rotational speed order value and acceleration time of work rolls from the (SCC) supervisory control computer(40), recognizing the time point when the front end of the rolled strip is entered into the rear stand and receiving rotational speed of the work rolls of the front and rear stands as feedback signals; and a microprocessor(30) for calculating rotational speed compensation of the front stand (ΔVRi,compen) and controlling rotational speed of work rolls of the front stand in case that rotational speed deviation of work rolls of front and rear stands (ΔVR,Lockon) at time point (t0) when the front end of the rolled strip is entered into the rear stand is greater than an arbitrary gain value (β) from work roll speed deviation of the front and rear stands (ΔVi,i+1).
