PURPOSE: A device for automatically rotating an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) assembly of a mobile terminal is provided to make the LCD assembly interlink with a step motor to be automatically rotated, and to allow a user to variably set a rotation angle. CONSTITUTION: A body of a communication terminal includes a pair of concave parts and an LCD assembly. One of the pair of concave parts has a plunger to connect and disconnect a call according to whether a handset is installed. The LCD assembly arranged to be distant from the concave parts in the body is rotated to hinge axes on both sides. In the communication terminal, a tooth part is formed integrally by a predetermined range in a lower part of the LCD assembly. A step motor(40) has a gear part(42) for forward and backward rotation through the gearing with the tooth part. And a plunger switch(44) is connected to the plunger to selectively drive the step motor(40) according to hook on/off states of the plunger.
