PURPOSE: An apparatus for receiving analog/digital broadcasting of a television receiver set is provided to switch an IF signal and an RF signal to selectively tune analog and digital broadcasting signals, thereby receiving both analog and digital broadcasting signals without extra costs. CONSTITUTION: A tuner(11) tunes an RF input signal for outputting an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal, and receives an RF AGC(Automatic Gain Control) signal. A D/A switching part(12) receives a digital IF signal for transmitting to a digital TV signal processor(13) and receives a digital RF AGC signal from the digital TV signal processor for transmitting to the tuner. Otherwise, the D/A switching part receives an analog IF signal for transmitting to an analog TV signal processor(14) and receives an analog RF AGC signal from the analog TV signal processor for transmitting to the tuner. The digital TV signal processor restores the digital IF signal to the original digital video signal and provides the digital RF AGC signal to the D/A switching part. The analog TV signal processor restores the analog IF signal to the original analog video signal and provides the analog RF AGC signal to the D/A switching part.
