PURPOSE: An adjusting method of adjusting width for a bumper in a vehicle and structure thereof are provided to adjust the width of the bumper according to the size by adjusting the insertion gap with separating left and right bumpers from the center bumper, and to cut down expenses by replacing the bumper partially. CONSTITUTION: Auxiliary bumpers(7,7',8,8') are assembled and disassembled from center, left and right parts of a frame, and the stainless frame is fixed in the vehicle body. The bumper is fixed in the front of the vehicle by the frame, and the center bumper having recesses(9) is fitted to the front of the vehicle body. The center bumper is supported with assembling lower bumpers, and guide bumpers are inserted to the recesses with assembling guide bumpers. The width of the bumper is adjusted with inserting the guide bumpers into the center bumper.
