The invention relates to a large volume container for holding liquid media comprised of two shell-like end parts (4) each having a ring-shaped flat contact surface (12), and comprised of at least one sleeve-like middle part (2) which is composed of at least two ring segments (2a, 2b, 2c) and which also has ring-shaped and flat contact surfaces (12) as well as a filling and emptying opening. The contact surfaces (12) comprise a surrounding chamber (7), and the contact surfaces (12) merge on their surrounding boundary edges while forming backward running inclinations in order to form weld channels (14). |
