PURPOSE: A digital composing instrument using a MIDI mike is provided to play, store, and edit MIDI data in real time by inputting the MIDI data output through the MIDI mike to other MIDI hardware. CONSTITUTION: A sound recovering part(10) recovers musical signals and actual sounds output from a human voice and an instrument for outputting a wave signal. An amplifier(20) amplifies the analog wave signal output from the sound recovering part. A band pass filter(30) eliminates signal sounds which are out of ranges of an audible frequency and a feigned voice frequency band. A white noise filter(40) removes electric noises. A spectrum analyzing part(50) detects only the frequency of high amplitude in the noise-removed sound source for outputting as analog signals. An encoder part(60) converts the analog signals into digital signals for measuring pitch, velocity, and length of sounds. A micro processor(70) outputs MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) signals of pitch, velocity, and length of sounds.
